Saab J 35F Draken 35519 | 1-color | 001-012

$59.99

Saab Draken tags were cut from three access panels removed from Swedish Air Force J 35F-2 Draken, s/n 35519. This aircraft made its first flight in June 1968 and was delivered to the special unit Försökscentralen (Flight Test Centre), where—wearing the tactical number “19” on its vertical stabilizer—it became one of the few Drakens used for testing new systems for the Swedish Air Force. It played a role in the development of the most advanced Draken variant, the J 35J, during the 1980s. After retirement, 35519 was used as a fire training airframe at Såtenäs Air Base in Sweden. It was last recorded in 2015, and likely scrapped sometime after that.
