Tags with structures were cut from various access panels located on the wing of different IL-2s recovered from 3 different crash sites. All aircraft were pre-1942 production Il-2s fitted with all-metal wings.
All tags (except tags #065 and #068) in this variation have complete structures on their back side. This means, their structure elements were secured and protected before waterjet cutting so that the tags can be offered with their full structures intact.
