Plain tags were cut from plain sections of the aileron of Messerschmitt Bf 110D-3, WNr. 4281, which was lost in combat on 2 September 1942 during the Battle of Stalingrad.
Almost all tags have varying amounts of RLM75 Grüngrau on the front and RLM02 Grau paint on their back sides.
